Meet Romy, our amazing Director of Communications and Marketing
Like Ellie, Romy’s aesthetic is large scale prints, heaps of colour and a touch of street flair. She’s not forgotten her inner Sydney city roots and loves to wear a good sneaker with a big, loud dress. She’s collaborated with international indie pattern designers such as Sew Liberated, Friday Pattern Company, Chalk and Notch, Minerva, Lysimaque, Fibremood and many more. She’s been featured in Frankie Magazine, Peppermint Magazine and Simply Sewing. Romy holds a Bachelor in Health Sciences, Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Sydney, and followed that with a career in Marketing and Tech before moving on to mumming and sewing. She’s now here combining her love of all things sewing/design with her background in marketing to be working her dream job with the best textile designer there is.
On top of it all, she is a gorgeous woman inside and out. Romy has always been the 'dream' team member because she is a PERFECT. FIT. So after years of talking about it, and with Instagram being whacky, we knew it was time to make the dream a reality.
